Ashley’s Relief from Debilitating Headaches

Ashley’s headaches were debilitating. She could not sleep or participate in any of her daily activities without her head throbbing. Her neurologist diagnosed her with cervicogenic headaches, a type of headache mostly targeting women, and referred her to Advanced Care Physical Therapy for treatment. After working with Paige Duvall, PT, DPT, for several weeks, Ashley’s headaches were already reduced. After seven weeks, Ashley was headache free and could sleep through the night without being disturbed by neck or upper back pain. From a combination of manual therapy techniques, exercises and stretches, Ashley’s neck loosened, and allowed her to fully return to exercise, reading, and work. Happy with her results and experience at Advanced Care Physical Therapy, Ashley was successfully discharged and is another example of an ACPT patient success story.
