Cecil has practiced as a physical therapy assistant for 34 years in a variety of settings including hospital settings, nursing homes and independent assisted living centers.

 

He believes in a hands on approach when resolving musculo-skeletal problems and in the value of establishing a healing relationship with patients with the aim of encouraging a person’s own healing response. Additionally, Cecil practices physical therapy in an outpatient setting.

 

Before becoming a PTA, Cecil worked as an independent massage therapist.

Cecil has also worked as a yoga practitioner of Hatha Yoga in the Iyengar Style for 50 years. Cecil applies yoga techniques when treating his ACPT patients, helping them regain flexibility, strength and balance, and recover from injury.
