Vanessa Stamas PT, DPT

Vanessa Stamas, PT, DPT earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Florida, where she served as Clinical Director of the university’s pro-bono physical therapy clinic and co-authored research focused on children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Vanessa has extensive experience treating patients across orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, sports, and pediatric physical therapy settings. She has completed specialized training and works as a PRN physical therapist on the pediatric brain injury inpatient unit at Kennedy Krieger Institute, a nationally recognized leader in neurorehabilitation. In this role, she provides care for children with complex neurological injuries, further advancing her expertise in neurological recovery and functional rehabilitation.

Vanessa is passionate about delivering individualized, evidence-based care and empowering each patient to achieve their goals, restore function, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Outside of the clinic, Vanessa enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and staying actively involved in her community.
